📋 Description

• Support the Senior Finance Project Accountant to oversee up to $12m of fee-based revenue and ensure projects are reconciled to an audit-ready standard • Manage VP finance reporting packs daily • Work with the senior finance team and Client Services to improve recoverability and productivity • Support completion and evaluation of reporting and make recommendations to senior finance team members • Prepare job profitability analyses and liaise with Client Services regarding variances and client commercial and financial matters • Raise and check client estimates, comparing them with similar projects to ensure correct charging • Support Client Services with monthly reconciliations and ad-hoc queries • Resolve system or reporting challenges • Assist staff with Paprika and process/policy queries • Communicate with clients to troubleshoot budgeting and job administration issues • Participate in client meetings to support the Client Services team • Assist with month-end management accounts, focusing on revenue recognition and WIP • Help ensure financial transactions comply with policies and procedures and highlight breaches • Raise sales invoices and ensure timely payment receipt

🎯 Requirements

• A number of years’ experience within the Marketing/Advertising/Comms industry, preferably with some experience within the international Med Comms industry • Good understanding of industry standards including accounting principles, particularly around revenue recognition • Experience with Paprika accounting software or a similar advanced project management system • Advanced skills in MS Office • Strong communication skills and attention to detail • Efficient time management and organizational skills • Good team communication and influencing skills • Proactive and flexible approach; problem solver; adaptable to and an advocate of new systems and sharing of ideas • Finance or accounting degree and/or part qualified from a relevant professional body is preferred • Ability to work collegiately and on own initiative in a largely remote, highly communicative and supportive environment
