• Provide strategic and operational leadership for revenue cycle functions across Medical Group, Urgent Care, and Occupational Health service lines • Drive system standardization, performance management, and stakeholder accountability across all markets • Optimize scheduling, registration, insurance verification, authorization, and patient financial engagement processes • Improve registration accuracy, reduce eligibility and demographic errors, and ensure complete compliant patient data capture • Expand patient self-service capabilities including online scheduling, digital registration, automated eligibility verification, patient portals, mobile check-in, and electronic payments • Increase patient financial responsibility collections through price transparency, point-of-service collection, payment plans, and patient education • Identify denial and registration rework root causes and implement corrective action plans • Use metrics, dashboards, and analytics to monitor registration quality, scheduling, denials, collections, productivity, and revenue cycle performance • Establish onboarding, orientation, training, and continuing education programs for scheduling, registration, and patient access staff • Coach frontline associates and leaders and implement targeted development plans • Lead cross-functional continuous improvement, process standardization, technology, and automation initiatives • Lead market-based revenue cycle subject matter experts supporting frontline associates and market leaders • Maintain working relationships with Epic, Ensemble, and other partners • Work in a matrix environment with accountability to Medical Group and Revenue Cycle leadership
• Bachelor's Degree in Business (required) • 7+ years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle experience, including ambulatory/professional billing operations, with at least 5 years in leadership roles (required) • Strong computer technology skills, including Microsoft suite of tools • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including superior grammar and proofreading skills • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization • Ability to interpret and manage detailed analytical data • Strategic planning and execution • Performance improvement, Lean, and process redesign • Change management and physician/practice partnership • Payer and regulatory knowledge and contract/vendor management • Ability to influence without direct authority • Executive communication and presentation skills • Epic familiarity preferred • Multi-site or multi-market ambulatory revenue cycle leadership experience, Epic and vendor-partner oversight experience, and physician enterprise or medical group experience preferred
