📋 Description

• Deliver pre-designed math lessons and practice extension materials to K–6 students • Provide targeted support for students seeking to improve skills and topics at or below grade level • Conduct consistent, recurring weekly virtual tutoring sessions • Build supportive professional relationships with students • Provide encouraging and motivating learning environments with supportive corrections • Participate in the application and onboarding process • Potentially complete a five-minute recorded tutoring demonstration • Potentially attend a 15-minute virtual meeting with a BookNook team member • Complete onboarding, including payment account setup, FBI background check, and tutor certification

🎯 Requirements

• Classroom teacher, EL/ESL/ELL, tutoring, coaching, or similar student support experience • Online instruction experience with a college degree preferred • Ability to build meaningful professional connections with students • Ability to create an encouraging and motivating learning environment with supportive student corrections • Computer (laptop or desktop) and webcam • Clean, distraction-free environment • Reliable high-speed internet connection of at least 20 Mbps • Reside in and tutor from one of the listed eligible states or Washington, DC • All sessions must be conducted from within the 50 United States or Washington, DC • Availability often including at least one hour Monday through Thursday between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM ET • Attend at least 80% of claimed sessions
