It provides reading and math support through lessons, gamification, and assessments, along with online tutoring services that connect students with vetted tutors to enhance educational outcomes.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual math tutoring to students in grades K–8 across the United States • Deliver pre-designed, best-practice math lessons and practice extension materials • Provide targeted support for students improving skills and topics at or below grade level • Conduct most often 30-minute sessions following the school year from September to May • Maintain student behavior and engagement in a virtual classroom • Provide practice time and guide students with supportive corrections • Build meaningful professional connections and an encouraging, motivating learning environment • Attend at least 80% of claimed sessions to provide stable student support • Claim individual sessions or recurring session series according to availability • Participate in the application, demonstration, meeting, and onboarding process

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a classroom teacher, EL/ESL/ELL professional, tutor, coach, or in similar student support • Online instruction experience • College degree preferred, not required • Ability to deliver pre-designed best-practice math lessons • Ability to support students improving skills at or below grade level • Ability to build meaningful professional connections with students • Ability to create an encouraging and motivating learning environment • Ability to provide supportive student corrections • Computer (laptop or desktop) and webcam • Clean, distraction-free environment • Reliable high-speed internet with connection speed of at least 20 Mbps • Must reside in and tutor from one of the listed eligible U.S. states or Washington, DC • Must conduct all sessions from within the 50 United States or Washington, DC • Availability often including at least one hour Monday through Thursday between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM ET • Ability to attend at least 80% of claimed sessions • Applicants may be invited to submit a 5-minute one-way recorded tutoring demonstration • Applicants may be invited to schedule a 15-minute virtual meeting • Must share a clear result from an in-person fingerprint-based FBI background check after accepting an offer
