📋 Description

• Own product development process delivery and drive cross-functional alignment on development goals • Support and/or lead weekly product development meetings for US and Asia teams • Update the development tracker • Communicate accurate sampling, costing, and product details to cross-functional partners and vendors • Track, approve, and document tooling fees • Drive adherence to product development calendar goals, including specifications, samples, design approvals, cost approvals, spec sheet validation, and purchase order placement • Lead communication on sample requests, follow-up, troubleshooting, and timelines • Build chase timelines and action plans as needed • Partner with Asia Sourcing to ensure vendors provide complete and aligned cost sheets • Gather and store product launch documents, including cost sheets, BOMs, spec sheets, and assembly guides • Coordinate day-to-day product details and update the ready-to-write tracker • Create seamless handoffs with cross-functional teams for SKU setup and purchase order placement • Provide SKU and UPC labels directly to vendors

🎯 Requirements

• 0-2+ years of product development, sourcing, production, or buyer experience; hardgoods preferred, ideally within furniture • Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent practical experience in product development, sourcing, or production) • Superlative attention to detail and organization • Deadline driven with a bias towards action • Ability to work independently, assess tradeoffs, prioritize work, and communicate strategically • Motivated self-starter with willingness to learn • Ability to identify and navigate product development hurdles • Ability to assess risk, raise flags, and resolve issues proactively • Passion for defining process, implementing quality, and producing clear documentation • Exceptional written and verbal communication • Experience working with cross-functional partners and project stakeholders • Ability to organize and comprehend large sets of data • Proficiency with Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace • Multilingual skills, Mandarin or Vietnamese preferred as a bonus
