📋 Description

• Prepare figures for drafting requests, including general site sketches, soil boring and sample location maps, basic geologic cross-section diagrams, construction diagrams, well diagrams, and other graphics • Prepare surface and/or groundwater contour maps • Prepare residential layouts, excavation bottoms, and oversizing graphics • Work independently on tasks assigned by the CAD Manager • Apply Braun Intertec standards and practices • Communicate with the CAD Manager, Project Manager, or field technician to clarify drawing requests and ensure accurate deliverables • Request additional materials required for drawing completion • Assemble and organize multiple drawing files to enable efficient updates when drawing data changes

🎯 Requirements

• Technical College degree, Associate’s degree or equivalent and 2–4 years of experience • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D commands and workflows • Familiarity with multi-tab drawings • Ability to manage layer display attributes and visibility within multiple viewports • Familiarity with the Civil 3D environment and basic functionality • Familiarity with coordinate systems, including identifying and working within them • Ability to import and display point data • Ability to modify Civil 3D styles for points, surfaces, corridors, alignments, and other civil objects • Ability to use point data to create simple surfaces and generate/display contours • Ability to assemble and organize multiple drawing files for efficient future updates • General knowledge of ArcGIS, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat is helpful
