📋 Description

• Design and execute data import strategies into Drupal, based on datasets extracted from SharePoint environments • Develop and maintain ETL processes and migration scripts to transform and load structured and unstructured data into Drupal • Translate legacy SharePoint data (lists, libraries, metadata, permissions) into Drupal-compatible structures and formats • Perform data mapping, transformation, and normalization, ensuring consistency with Drupal content models and taxonomy • Implement migration workflows that preserve: Content relationships Metadata and taxonomy User permissions and access controls • Conduct test migrations, validation, and reconciliation to ensure completeness and accuracy of migrated data • Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues such as data inconsistencies, transformation errors, or missing relationships • Document mapping rules, transformation logic, and migration runbooks • Collaborate with Drupal developers and architects to define content types, entities, and taxonomy structures that support incoming data • Configure and/or extend Drupal migration capabilities (e.g., Migrate API, custom scripts, or modules) • Support implementation of Drupal-side migration pipelines, ensuring alignment with platform architecture and performance considerations • Contribute to data model design and content architecture decisions to enable scalable and maintainable ingestion patterns • Participate in debugging and optimizing Drupal-based migration processes and data ingestion workflows • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate migration activities into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows • Support user acceptance testing and post-migration validation

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience performing enterprise data migrations from SharePoint environments • Hands-on experience with: Data transformation and scripting (Python, SQL, PowerShell, or similar) • ETL processes and migration automation • Metadata, taxonomy, and content modeling • Migrating document libraries and files, lists and structured data, permissions and access models • Strong troubleshooting and data validation skills • Experience working with Drupal content architecture, including content types, entities, fields, and taxonomy • Familiarity with Drupal migration frameworks (e.g., Migrate API) and/or custom ingestion approaches • Working knowledge of PHP and Drupal fundamentals as well as data modeling within Drupal systems • Experience supporting or implementing content migrations into Drupal or similar CMS platforms • Experience with migration tools (ShareGate, Metalogix, DocAve, or similar) is a plus • Familiarity with AWS or cloud-based environments • Experience working in large-scale modernization or federal environments preferred • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field • Existing or recent DHS clearance strongly preferred • Public Trust Clearance will be required
