📋 Description

• Engage directly with business stakeholders, VPs, clinical leads, and operations owners to identify ambiguous, high-value problems and translate them into buildable AI opportunities • Define minimum viable AI solutions and challenge assumptions before development • Map processes end-to-end to identify where AI can reduce friction, lower costs, or accelerate decisions • Create scoping documents and ROI estimates with clear success criteria • Design and build AI prototypes rapidly using Claude and modern AI development tools • Develop full-stack AI applications involving LLM orchestration, RAG, agentic workflows, REST API integrations, and lightweight front-end interfaces • Own technical architecture from prompt design through data pipeline and user interface • Iterate using real user feedback and move prototypes toward production-grade quality • Use Claude for code generation, testing, documentation, and solution design • Partner with the AI Governance team to validate and harden solutions for production • Apply responsible AI practices including bias review, explainability, HIPAA compliance, audit logging, and model monitoring • Document solutions for handoff, scaling, and maintenance • Contribute reusable patterns and components to Brillio's AI accelerator library • Participate in client sprint reviews, program steering committees, and executive status updates • Demonstrate progress through live demos and working software • Explain technical concepts to business leaders and build trust from pilot to scale • Surface blockers, dependencies, and risks with solutions-oriented framing • Develop expertise in client workflows, data, competitive pressures, and regulatory environments • Understand healthcare operations and generate AI problem hypotheses • Build trusted-advisor relationships with business counterparts • Share client engagement learnings with Brillio's broader applied AI community

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of direct, hands-on healthcare industry experience • Experience in health insurance operations or health system clinical and operational workflows • Proficiency with Claude (Anthropic) as a development tool • Demonstrated use of the Claude API, including prompt engineering, tool use, and agentic patterns • Ability to independently build and ship end-to-end AI applications • Experience with LLM integration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic orchestration, REST API development, and lightweight front-end interfaces • Proven ability to move from a business conversation to a working AI prototype in days • Ability to explain technical solutions, business value, costs, and next steps clearly to healthcare executives • Comfort participating in steering committees, executive briefings, and business rhythm meetings • Ability to structure ambiguous problems into scoped AI opportunities with clear inputs, outputs, and success criteria • Quantitative fluency for ROI and impact measurement • Strong preference for experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or equivalent orchestration frameworks • Strong preference for familiarity with HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT, claims data structures, HIPAA, CMS regulations, and FDA digital health guidance • Strong preference for forward-deployed, embedded, startup, consulting, or client-embedded engineering experience • Strong preference for experience shipping AI in a health insurance technology company or health system • Strong preference for contributing to reusable AI platforms or accelerators • Strong preference for knowledge of AI governance and responsible AI practices, including model risk management, bias evaluation, audit logging, and enterprise AI governance frameworks
