• Manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure residents’ healthcare needs are met • Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and maintain quality care as needs change • Ensure consistent quality resident care and service delivery across all shifts • Assume Caregiver or Med Tech/Aide responsibilities when needed to meet resident needs and staffing requirements • Assist in supervising licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers • Provide ongoing caregiver training and education, including classroom in-services and situation-specific training • Manage associate schedules • Oversee medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision and/or administration • Conduct medication skills inventory checks and medication audits according to Brookdale guidelines • Share on-call duties as required
• Education as required to obtain a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) • LPN or LVN license • Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience • Ability to supervise licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers • Knowledge of medication training, pharmacy management, medication supervision and/or administration • Ability to conduct medication skills inventory checks and medication audits • Ability to manage associate schedules • Ability to share on-call duties
