📋 Description

• Coordinate the 340B Drug Pricing Program and maintain program standards • Ensure HRSA requirements for program qualifications are met • Improve 340B program performance through surveillance and identification of optimizations • Scope and escalate operational or compliance issues with internal audits and 340B Auditors • Communicate and escalate compliance issues or gaps in 340B operations • Guide pharmacy buyers and staff on compliant purchasing, inventory management, and practices that maximize compliance and savings • Support training, education, and communication for covered entity leadership and personnel • Develop and maintain internal and external customer service relationships • Create and maintain monthly reports of 340B metrics and financial savings • Analyze monthly reports, complete variance reporting, and identify cost savings and system improvements • Serve as split billing software expert and troubleshoot software issues • Coordinate 340B software with clinical information systems, EMR, virtual accumulator, and contract pharmacy interfaces • Review software reports and ensure compliant ordering and cost savings • Triage live-site issues in split billing software, electronic medical record, or charge master • Collaborate with Epic charge team and charge master managers on corrective action plans • Coordinate issue resolution with split billing software vendors • Maintain software configurations aligned with revenue cycle practices, Epic build, and organizational policies • Serve as primary internal liaison for 340B utilization and compliance • Develop and implement action plans for compliance concerns • Participate in 340B Executive Oversight Committee subcommittees and develop policies and procedures • Provide education and compliance coaching to pharmacy teams and 340B staff • Collaborate with finance, information technology, medical staffing, and other departments • Participate in 340B committees and develop internal audit plans • Conduct regular 340B internal audits and data analysis • Document audit results, communicate findings, and escalate issues • Monitor 340B regulations and legislation and attend ongoing trainings/conferences • Become a subject matter expert in Contract Pharmacy, Policy and Procedure, Data & Reporting, Compliance/Audits, and/or 340B Split Billing Software

🎯 Requirements

• 2 year/Associates Degree in Healthcare Administration/Business, Finance, Information Technology/Analytics, Pharmacy or a related field • 340B University Certificate (Live/On Demand) • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience with pharmacy 340B required • Proficiently trained in Microsoft Office Software, specifically Microsoft Outlook and Excel • Advanced knowledge of 340B Drug Pricing Program and/or healthcare billing regulations and practices • Experience in Epic Electronic Health Record • Auditing hospital charging/patient records • Experience in 340B Split Billing/Third Party Administrator Software and/or manual 340B operations • Excellent communication skills with ability to develop cross-departmental professional relationships • Combination of post-secondary education and experience in lieu of a degree • 340B Advanced Operations Certificate preferred • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business, analytics, or auditing preferred • Ability to begin 340B operations in new environment, including program operations design, split billing software/manual tracker setup, staff education, and policy and procedure development preferred • Knowledge/training in Microsoft Access preferred • Experience in drafting Policies and Procedures preferred • Previous drug purchasing and/or wholesaler experience preferred • Experience in training employees preferred • Experience in software implementations preferred
