📋 Description

• Perform compliance activities for assigned high-risk healthcare compliance areas • Conduct monitoring, auditing, research, and compliance risk assessments • Assist with investigations of compliance violations or risks • Advise stakeholders and draft policies, procedures, and engagement letters • Develop and deliver compliance awareness and education programs • Research regulations, laws, and policies and recommend updates • Review records, identify opportunities, and implement and monitor corrective action plans • Triage reports of potential non-compliance and respond to Compliance Helpline concerns • Monitor, document, and report operational compliance activities • Participate in compliance workgroups and committees • Coordinate daily activities with compliance vendor systems and resolve service-related issues • Develop reports, mitigation plans, and risk assessments with other Compliance Generalists • Collect and synthesize compliance data for summary reports

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare operations, business administration, or related field (required) • 1–3 years of experience in healthcare compliance (required) • Certified in Healthcare Compliance – Health Care Compliance Association (preferred) • Knowledge of healthcare systems (preferred) • Knowledge of healthcare laws (preferred) • Working knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA, CMS, OIG, Stark, and Anti-Kickback • Basic auditing and monitoring protocols • Policy and procedure drafting, editing, and maintenance • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency • Ability to navigate electronic medical record systems • Ability to collect and synthesize compliance data • Ability to coordinate and communicate with compliance and operational stakeholders • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate ethical judgment
