📋 Description

• Build polished, interactive web experiences for buffer.com, including product launch pages, brand storytelling, landing pages, and marketing tools • Create thoughtful animations and interactions using Motion, CSS animations, or other suitable approaches • Evolve and maintain Buffer's design system and component library • Improve accessibility and performance across buffer.com through auditing and ongoing iteration • Pair with engineers, review code, and share knowledge about front-end architecture, design systems, and accessibility patterns • Collaborate with marketing leadership, UX design, customer advocates, Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, and Growth Marketing • Write and ship high-quality, tested code • Contribute to front-end engineering standards across marketing codebases

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience • Strong front-end engineering experience • Solid experience with React and TypeScript • Hands-on experience with front-end animation using Motion, CSS animations, or another creative approach • Experience with design systems and component libraries • Understanding of accessibility, performance, clean code, and front-end architecture • Strong sense of visual hierarchy, spacing, typography, and user flows • Ability to make good UX decisions in code without pixel-perfect specifications • Ability to navigate ambiguity and think in systems • Ability to work effectively in remote, asynchronous environments • Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Portfolio, personal site, open-source contributions, or other examples demonstrating interaction quality, visual detail, and front-end craft • Experience with Next.js App Router, SSR/ISR patterns, or Edge functions is a plus • Familiarity with Next.js v15+, CSS Modules, Radix UI, Base UI, Recharts, Segment, Google Tag Manager, Mixpanel, BigQuery, Ghost CMS, Redash, Notion, Google Sheets, and external APIs
