📋 Description

• Drive profitable growth within existing manufacturing and processing accounts • Identify and develop new MRO business opportunities • Conduct facility assessments to uncover cost savings and process improvement opportunities • Partner with Account Managers to expand customer penetration and wallet share • Build relationships with maintenance, operations, engineering, and purchasing stakeholders • Develop and implement pricing and product conversion strategies • Present value-based solutions that improve productivity, inventory management, and procurement efficiency • Maintain an active pipeline and manage opportunities independently • Travel significantly throughout the region, with some international travel • Work consultatively with bakery, meat processing, and produce manufacturing accounts to reduce costs, improve operational efficiency, and consolidate suppliers

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Bachelor's degree preferred • 5+ years of industrial sales, MRO sales, maintenance supply sales, or industrial distribution experience • Experience selling into manufacturing, processing, warehousing, or industrial environments • Demonstrated success in business development and growing existing accounts • Experience working directly with maintenance managers, plant managers, operations leaders, engineers, or procurement teams • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills • Effective use of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel required • Experience with IBM I-Series/AS400 operating system highly desired • Ability to travel extensively with overnight stays with some occasional international travel • Food processing, packaging, bakery, produce, or protein industry experience preferred • Experience identifying inventory reduction, supplier consolidation, and cost savings opportunities preferred • Knowledge of plant operations, storeroom management, maintenance practices, and industrial purchasing processes preferred
