• Accurately process, organise, and maintain patient medical records within our electronic health record (EHR) system • Ensure all medical records are complete, up-to-date, and compliant with data protection regulations and internal policies • Handle the secure retrieval and release of medical information to patients, healthcare providers, and other authorised parties, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols • Scan, index, and file clinical documentation and correspondence correctly • Conduct regular quality assurance audits on medical records to ensure their integrity and accuracy • Respond to internal and external enquiries regarding medical records in a professional and timely manner • Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative staff to ensure a seamless flow of information
• Proven experience as a Medical Records Clerk or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting • A strong understanding of medical terminology, data protection principles, and patient confidentiality • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications • Exceptional organisational skills and a meticulous level of attention to detail • The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively in a remote environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience working within a fast-paced emergency care environment is desirable but not essential.
