📋 Description

• Oversee site selection, lease negotiations, and execution of 20–25 new store openings and relocations annually within an assigned territory • Identify, evaluate, and secure prime real estate opportunities aligned with Burlington’s expansion goals • Conduct market research and analysis to optimize site selection • Build relationships with landlords, brokers, and real estate partners • Lead negotiations for new store leases, relocations, and renewals • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Construction, and Store Planning teams on deal execution • Manage the real estate approval process and present deal packages to senior leadership • Oversee new store openings and relocations from site identification through lease execution and opening • Manage site-specific challenges, project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics • Monitor industry trends, competitor expansion strategies, and retail real estate opportunities • Improve site selection and deal-making processes • Mentor junior team members and represent Burlington in the real estate community

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of retail real estate experience • Strong track record in site selection, lease negotiations, and deal execution • Strong market knowledge and understanding of retail expansion strategies • Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills with landlords, brokers, and real estate partners • Financial and analytical expertise, including assessing deal economics and making data-driven recommendations • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
