📋 Description

• Lead and manage the Global Contracts Management team • Provide global oversight of clinical site contract activities supporting sponsored clinical trials worldwide • Develop and execute the global strategy, governance framework, operating model, policies, procedures, SOPs, templates, playbooks, and best practices for Clinical Site Contracts • Oversee the development, negotiation, execution, amendment, maintenance, and close-out of global clinical site contracts • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex contractual negotiations and site-specific issues • Identify contracting risks affecting study startup, enrollment, and study execution, and implement mitigation strategies • Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Tax, Procurement, Clinical Outsourcing, CROs, vendors, and external institutions • Communicate contract status, negotiation progress, key risks, and critical path issues to senior leadership and study stakeholders • Align negotiated budgets, payment terms, and contractual obligations with Site Payments, Finance, and Clinical Operations • Oversee governance and performance of contract service providers, FSP partners, CROs, and external vendors • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, quality standards, productivity measures, dashboards, and operational reporting • Lead process improvement, automation, data analysis, benchmarking, and contract lifecycle management optimization • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, ICH-GCP requirements, company policies, legal standards, and industry best practices • Ensure inspection readiness, audit preparedness, quality standards, staffing, service levels, succession planning, and career development • Lead, mentor, recruit, onboard, train, coach, and manage performance of a global Site Contracts organization

🎯 Requirements

• Strategic leadership of global clinical site contracting activities • Experience overseeing clinical site contract agreements, including CTAs, investigator agreements, CDAs, MSAs, pharmacy, ancillary, consulting, and subcontractor agreements • Knowledge of clinical trial study startup, contracting risks, negotiation strategies, and contract lifecycle management • Ability to develop global governance models, policies, procedures, SOPs, templates, playbooks, and best practices • Experience collaborating with Clinical Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Tax, Procurement, CROs, vendors, and external institutions • Ability to analyze contract negotiation reports, financial metrics, operational performance indicators, and contracting intelligence • Experience establishing KPIs, SLAs, quality standards, productivity measures, dashboards, and operational reporting • Knowledge of applicable regulations, ICH-GCP requirements, legal standards, compliance requirements, and industry best practices • Experience with contract lifecycle management systems, workflows, automation, and reporting capabilities • Supervisory experience including recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, succession planning, workload balancing, resource allocation, and career development • Ability to foster accountability, collaboration, innovation, inclusion, continuous learning, and organizational transformation
