📋 Description

• Configure and own assigned SAP S/4HANA Materials Management scope across procurement, inventory management, material valuation, and physical inventory processes • Design and configure material master and business partner data structures, including material types, valuation classes, account determination, and split valuation • Configure and troubleshoot inventory valuation and account determination so goods movements and consumption post accurately to the general ledger and controlling objects • Design release strategies, approval workflows, and purchasing document controls • Own integration design between materials management, finance, controlling, asset accounting, enterprise asset management, and external procurement interfaces • Support inventory and operating materials valuation, work-in-process treatment, physical count procedures, and warehouse-to-ledger reconciliation controls • Lead requirements gathering and fit-to-standard workshops and document functional designs and configuration rationale • Own deliverables through design, configuration, documentation, testing, and defect resolution across unit, integration, and user acceptance testing • Mentor junior team members and review configuration and documentation for quality and standards compliance • Support authority to operate, cybersecurity, audit, and compliance activities, including production of control evidence • Support cutover, go-live, post-deployment hypercare, and transition to sustainment • Travel to client sites up to 50% for workshops, design sessions, testing, cutover, and go-live • Adhere to C5MI policies, procedures, certified processes, quality assurance, information security, and privacy requirements • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; 3–5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5–7 years of relevant experience without a Bachelor’s degree • 3+ years of SAP Materials Management functional experience, including hands-on configuration of procurement, inventory management, and material valuation processes • Experience with material master, business partner/vendor master, source determination, purchasing documents, release strategies, and physical inventory • Working knowledge of inventory valuation, automatic account determination, and resulting financial postings • Experience integrating materials management, finance, controlling, and asset accounting • Ability to handle moderately complex issues with minimal oversight • Experience owning deliverables through design, configuration, testing, and documentation • Experience supporting multi-system SAP landscapes • Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one prior to assignment; requires U.S. citizenship • Willingness to travel to client sites up to 50% • SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement or related SAP certification listed as nice to have • Experience with federal ERP modernization, DoW SAP environments, or defense business systems listed as nice to have • Experience with accountable property processes, IUID, serialized material tracking, federal procurement/invoicing platforms, SAP Activate, fit-to-standard clean-core delivery, and Agile delivery certifications listed as nice to have
