📋 Description

• Build and manage client SAP environments • Ensure efficient SAP environment operations, system administration, tuning, upgrades, and security • Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to gather and integrate requirements into technical specifications • Contribute to SAP solution design and implementation, including Proof of Concept development • Provide technical expertise and support for installations, migrations, and integrations • Work with OS and database administrators to optimize system performance • Manage upgrades, corrections, transport management (CTS/TMS), client and landscape strategies, and batch scheduling • Implement and manage user administration, security measures, access controls, authentication mechanisms, and compliance with security standards • Conduct training for end users and client personnel on SAP Basis processes • Create and maintain technical SAP system and process documentation • Identify and resolve complex SAP technical issues with technical teams and SAP support • Share knowledge, mentor junior consultants, and provide technical training • Test and troubleshoot SAP Basis services • Stay current with SAP Basis functionality, enhancements, and best practices • Travel occasionally to client sites or technical forums for in-person support • Participate in quality assurance and protect sensitive information according to security policies • Perform other related tasks assigned by the direct supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university with 5-7 years of experience with design/development, SAP system installation, upgrades, and performance tuning; or no degree with 7-10 years of stated relevant experience • Current CompTIA Security+ Certification required; if not already held, certification will be required after selection for the position • Advanced understanding of SAP Basis tools and processes, including system builds, upgrades, client copies, OS, print, backup and recovery, HA, across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and Fiori • Self-starter and problem solver capable of functioning in a dynamic, fast-paced, change-oriented environment • Ability to anticipate and troubleshoot complex issues • Ability to support, encourage, coach, and maintain accountability • Strong organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail • Exceptional critical and analytical thinking skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining quality and attention to detail • Limited travel required, less than 5% • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active government clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship • Nice to have: SAP Certified Technology Associate certifications • Nice to have: Experience with the Department of Defense or other Federal agencies • Nice to have: Experience mentoring or formally training junior Basis consultants • Nice to have: Experience leading SAP upgrades, migrations, or landscape consolidations • Nice to have: Advanced experience with cloud-hosted SAP environments such as AWS, Azure, or SAP RISE • Nice to have: Experience designing and implementing HA and DR strategies for SAP landscapes • Nice to have: Advanced SAP Solution Manager configuration experience
