📋 Description

• Champion development of high-quality, modern, fully reproducible code using version control, modular design, automated testing, documentation, and CI/CD • Mentor and coach the team on software engineering design principles • Develop solutions within a secure cloud-based architecture leveraging technologies such as Airflow and Purview • Manage environment setup, version control, deployment, and CI/CD processes • Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise systems through APIs, S3 ingestion endpoints, and database connectors • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and product teams on metadata management, asset ingestion, automation workflows, and platform usability • Document technical requirements, user stories, and workflow specifications • Help estimate, sequence, and prioritize work for efficient delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building scalable data-driven services, data ingestion pipelines, and automation workflows, contributing to high-reliability cloud solutions at an enterprise scale • Experience working on complicated problems and providing creative, practical, and feasible solutions • Strong communication and problem-solving skills in dynamic, remote environments • Ability to empathetically work with platform customers to triage and resolve issues, enable self-service, and introduce improvements based on feedback • Ability to collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, platform engineers, cybersecurity, and product stakeholders • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; experience considered in lieu of a degree • Demonstrated experience working with agile project management tools • Must be able to obtain and maintain a NASA Public Trust background investigation • Experience supporting the NASA Web Services Operational Environment • Experience with Enterprise Data Platform applications such as Microsoft Purview, Apache Airflow, or similar technologies • Experience supporting Federal government projects • Ability to design and document technical solutions related to continuous integration and continuous deployment
