📋 Description

• Install, configure, deploy, and maintain servers, applications, and software • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues • Ensure infrastructure security, efficiency, and overall system health • Operate within a SAFe delivery model, partnering with cross-functional teams • Support IaaS, IaC, networking, and firewall components • Perform system upgrades and IAVA patching and ensure STIG compliance • Troubleshoot outages and implement root-cause resolutions • Manage AWS resources and optimize cloud environments • Maintain security practices including access controls, backups, and firewalls • Build and maintain internal technical documentation, runbooks, and IT policies • Collaborate with application, data, and cybersecurity teams • Contribute to upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance • 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator, Cloud Administrator, or similar role • Experience managing servers, networks, patching, and cloud/virtual environments • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience • Relevant professional certifications or technical training • Production Kubernetes / Amazon EKS experience • Familiarity with Active Directory and identity federation • Experience with STIGs, security patching, and IL4/IL5 environments • Scripting skills (Shell, Perl, PowerShell) and automation tooling • Terraform expertise (modules, state mgmt, reusable IaC) and Ansible knowledge • Knowledge of observability/logging platforms (Splunk, CloudWatch)
