📋 Description

• Design and develop dimensional data models and data frameworks to optimize analytical reporting performance and support end-user data discovery • Create and optimize ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading between transactional and analytical systems • Lead design sessions and facilitate requirements gathering with subject matter experts • Guide technical solutions across complex, multi-system environments • Perform SQL development, query optimization, and data profiling • Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders • Influence policies, practices, and procedures across teams • Coach and provide technical guidance to lower-level team members • Build reports, dashboards, and OLAP databases • Deliver business intelligence and information solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Active DoD Secret clearance required • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field with 5–7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Expert-level dimensional data modeling (fact/dimension design) • Deep knowledge of data warehousing, data marts, and data architecture principles • Advanced SQL development, query optimization, and data profiling capabilities • Proven source-to-target mapping and ETL process design and implementation • Strong understanding of data structures, relationships, and database design principles (PK/FK, schemas) • Experience translating business requirements into technical data solutions and models • Experience working across complex, multi-system environments • Experience leading design sessions and facilitating requirements gathering • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences • Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to peers • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment • Hands-on experience with BI and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx • Experience with enterprise ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle • Familiarity with data lake architectures and modern analytics ecosystems • Experience developing data modeling standards and comprehensive documentation • Knowledge of OLAP tools and technologies • Background in statistical analyses, predictive forecasting, and trend interpretation
