📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive interviews with subjects, employers, associates, references, and other knowledgeable individuals • Review appropriate records to obtain facts • Resolve all material issues in cases • Establish the background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications of subjects under investigation • Conduct interviews via VTC, phone, and in-person meetings, with VTC as the primary method • Complete a one-week intensive virtual online training program • Potentially travel across the U.S. for temporary duty assignments, typically lasting two weeks • Gain exposure to various investigation contracts

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum Top Secret clearance required to start • Customer credential or ability to obtain it based on National Training Standard certification and recent background-investigation experience for this customer • Proven quality, timeliness, and production metrics • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of general experience demonstrating progressive responsibility in problem solving, planning and organizing work, and communicating effectively orally and in writing • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable determination based on a T5 Investigation • Ability to navigate and utilize multiple technology systems simultaneously • Current driver’s license • Reliable personal vehicle • Willingness to travel locally, dependent on assignment location • Home office within reasonable distance of workload areas • Reliable high-speed Internet • Ability to sit, type, stand, or walk for extended periods • Excellent time management and prioritization skills • Exceptional written and oral communication skills • Ability to communicate complex or sensitive information effectively • Ability to listen attentively, respond appropriately to nonverbal cues, and make clear and convincing oral presentations • Ability to maintain strong relationships with diverse individuals and handle challenging situations tactfully and professionally • Correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling • Ability to communicate information succinctly and in an organized manner • Ability to produce written technical material appropriate for the intended audience
