📋 Description

• Work as an Oracle Application DBA on an Oracle E-Business Suite R12 integrated project team • Support management and maintenance of multiple Oracle RDBMS instances in an Oracle EBS R12 shared-service solution • Add additional instances based on capacity planning and emerging government requirements • Maintain production uptime service levels through backup, recovery, refresh, performance tuning, and security • Plan and respond to service outages, including backups and restores • Monitor system performance and diagnose software and hardware failures through resolution • Provide patch management and distribution capabilities • Create and test data backups • Provide data cleansing, verify data integrity, and implement access controls • Perform database configuration, monitoring, and tuning • Perform routine maintenance, problem defect analysis and resolution, space and storage management, object management, physical database layout, rollback segment management, and temporary space management • Support logs and alerts, access rights and roles, database instance version control, IDs, authorizations, audits, locked/unlocked status, and revocation • Monitor memory usage, configure database parameters and resources, and manage I/O distribution • Ensure system health, maintenance, technical security, recovery, and basic application technical tuning • Maintain Oracle Critical Upgrades and patch management schedules • Support testing, fielding, systems sustainment, software development, migration, and integration efforts as needed • Contribute to work plans for security analysis and recommendations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with five years of related work experience that includes large-scale Oracle ERP support • Experience using WebLogic for Oracle EBS R12.2 web tier and Oracle OEM12c to manage and monitor environments • Experience with OCI, including migration support • Experience installing and supporting Oracle RAC, SuperCluster, R12.2, and 12c database • Experience implementing or migrating to Cloud Service Provider (CSP) environments • Experience upgrading Oracle databases • Working knowledge of maintaining DoD security standards and rules, including Oracle CPU patching, access management, direct grant, and database links • Experience with security monitoring, managing, and testing, such as IAVAs, patches, and STIGs • Experience designing and implementing single sign-on architecture for supporting applications such as SOA and OBIEE using OAM/OID • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as OCA WebLogic 11g SA, OCI Foundations 2020, or Security+ CE • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain an IT-I background investigation • Prior Oracle EBS Federal Financial Management experience supporting Federal or DoD customers is nice to have
