📋 Description
• Join Cadnetics' Virtual Construction Services (VCS) division as a BIM/VDC Drafter Modeler Lead or Manager for electrical projects • Serve as a go-to resource for contractors during BIM/VDC projects • Execute projects that are too large for clients' internal teams and represent clients without internal BIM/VDC departments • Work with new companies and different industries while directly engaging with a short list of assigned clients • Complete modeling, coordination, shop drawings, and layout drawings to a finished-product level • Engage directly with clients and project teams • Create, address, and remedy project redlines and feedback thoroughly and accurately • Perform additional duties within the group or department as required • Travel occasionally as part of the remote role
🎯 Requirements
• Accountable, independent, and professional • Require minimal supervision and complete work accurately at a finished-product level • Advanced working experience and certification with Revit software • Cultivate positive ongoing relationships with team members and clients • Confidently engage directly with clients and project teams • Thoroughly and accurately address project redlines and feedback • Associate degree in a relevant field and/or minimally 8 years of work experience • Knowledge of design and construction codes, specifications, regulations, industry standards, and best practices • Advanced understanding of construction document review, building constructability requirements, and applicable code compliance • Advanced understanding of virtual design and construction concepts and best practices • Advanced experience with VDC software, including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, BIM360, LotSpec, Cyclone, Scene, Sysque, laser scanners, and cameras • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite • General contractor experience preferred but not required • Remote environment with occasional travel
