📋 Description

• Independently prepare regulatory reports and documentation • Collaborate with various departments to implement and maintain compliance • Develop procedures and training manuals for compliance processes • Respond and research high level inquiries from internal teams and regulatory authorities regarding compliance matters • Conduct regular reviews of mortgage files to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations • Keep abreast of changes in mortgage laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant teams

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent • A minimum of 4-6 years proven experience in mortgage compliance, processing and/or underwriting within the financial industry • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations, including but not limited to RESPA, TILA, TRID, NMLS Call Report, HMDA, and Fair Lending • Filing regulatory reports including the NMLS Call Report, HMDA, and Fair Lending • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, QuestSoft, NContracts, and other relevant mortgage software
