📋 Description

• Define and communicate the security program's strategy, priorities, and progress to the broader business • Shape the introduction of new security tools from vendor procurement through implementation • Manage security engineering priorities and backlog • Drive execution across detection & response, corporate security, and product security • Translate security requirements and risk for Cape's approximately 70 product engineers, and communicate product-team needs back to security engineers • Partner with security engineering leadership to plan roadmaps, run program rituals, and unblock cross-team dependencies • Build trust and clear communication channels with engineering stakeholders across the company • Create metrics that guide company-wide policy and prioritization • Drive the company SBOM

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience as a TPM or PM embedded with a security team that builds tooling and systems in-house • Solid grounding in computer engineering fundamentals • Comfortable going deep on technical detail with engineers across detection & response, corporate security, and product security • Track record of defining and communicating technical programs to non-technical stakeholders • Strong prioritization and backlog management skills • Judgment to know what matters most • Comfort operating as a trusted technical liaison between specialized teams and a large, distributed engineering organization • Must be authorized to work in the United States or have applicable US work authorization
