📋 Description

• Work closely with loan originators to process mortgage loans and provide a best-in-class customer experience • Quickly review online loan applications for accuracy and completeness • Advise loan originators regarding loan viability at first glance • Acquire necessary documents for underwriting and final approval • Calculate principal, interest and closing cost amounts and notify borrowers • Prepare mortgage loan files by reviewing applications and clarifying or obtaining additional information • Confirm application information by corresponding with verification sources • Obtain documentation by ordering credit reports, land surveys, building appraisals, titles and related information • Identify application and documentation deficiencies and notify the mortgage loan underwriter and/or supervisor • Disclose new loans, issue COCs and complete loan setup functions

🎯 Requirements

• Recent experience in the mortgage industry as an assistant, loan processor or loan officer is required • Knowledge of lending terminology and ability/experience speaking with borrowers regarding lending requirements • Experience processing conventional, FHA and VA loans • Proven customer service ability • Microsoft Office software suite proficiency, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Encompass proficiency • Excellent oral and written communication skills
