📋 Description

• Install, repair, and upgrade telecommunications technology and infrastructure for clients • Install, operate, and maintain voice and data telecommunications network circuits and equipment • Plan network installations by reviewing customer orders, manuals, technical specifications, and installation sites • Run, pull, terminate, and splice cables • Install telecommunications equipment, routers, switches, multiplexors, cable trays, and alarm and fire-suppression systems • Build ironwork and ladder racks and establish connections and integrations • Program features, activate remote access tools, follow industry standards, and coordinate with contractors • Test circuits, equipment, and alarms; identify, correct, or escalate problems • Label and route equipment and cables and document configurations and specifications • Troubleshoot and repair outages, test network backup procedures, and update documentation • Address customer concerns and answer questions • Follow safety codes, standards, and legal regulations • Inventory supplies, place orders, and verify receipt • Participate in educational opportunities and read technical publications • Travel frequently, up to 75% of the work schedule, to support business and client requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of specialized telecommunications specialist, IT support, or similar experience • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Ability to work well on a team • US Citizenship • Able to obtain a public trust security clearance • Willingness and ability to travel as needed, up to 75% of the work schedule • Broad technical knowledge of traditional and emerging communications technologies • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
