📋 Description

• Reviews, prepares and negotiates legal and transactional documents for prospective reinsurance transactions • Provides transactional reinsurance related legal support and advice to business units and executive management • Supports affiliates on U.S. and international reinsurance transactions, advising on U.S. regulatory and legal issues • Researches and provides legal advice on legal and regulatory issues • Monitors new federal and state legislation laws affecting AZRA, affiliates and the reinsurance industry

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree (JD) from an ABA accredited law school • California State Bar license in good standing • 3-5 years of legal experience at a major law firm, specializing in reinsurance and/or financial transactions • Solid business or transactional experience with excellent drafting skills • Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills • Strong negotiation skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and online legal research tools
