📋 Description

• Draft and respond to motions, including demurrers, motions to strike, discovery motions, and motions for summary judgment/adjudication • Prepare oppositions and reply briefs • Draft complaints and amended pleadings in labor and employment matters • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on California employment law issues • Prepare internal memoranda related to litigation strategy and legal issues • Ensure all filings comply with California procedural rules and court requirements • Collaborate with litigation attorneys to strengthen case strategy through written advocacy

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school • An active member of the California State Bar in good standing • 1 - 4 years of experience practicing employment law • Substantial experience handling law and motion practice in California employment matters • Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills • Ability to manage assignments independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment • Demonstrated ability to handle a caseload independently and meet deadlines • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
