• Prepare and analyze financial statements, cost reports, and statistical data • Develop and maintain cash forecasting, capital planning, and treasury models • Conduct benchmarking, KPI analysis, and variance reporting • Support budgeting, cost accounting, and productivity standards • Perform ad-hoc analyses, including program reviews, reconciliation variances, and business development assessments • Apply government reimbursement rules, including Medicare and Medicaid, to financial activities • Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts • Mentor accounting staff and support financial systems training • Research and document technical accounting issues • Present complex financial information to senior leadership • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders • Lead or coordinate financial projects as needed
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field required • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis or accounting • Demonstrated working knowledge of GAAP and government rules and regulations • Demonstrated knowledge of general ledger and related financial and revenue cycle systems, such as Workday and Epic • Effective analytical and communication skills • Intermediate Excel skills with complex formula experience required • Proactive, self-starter capable of working independently and as part of a team • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent oral and written communication • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment • Proficiency in Excel, financial systems, and BI tools • No licensure, registration, or certification required
