📋 Description

• Exemplify caring and compassionate customer service to create an excellent patient experience • Interact with patients and families in a wide variety of sensitive situations • Apply critical thinking and decisive judgment in an often-hectic environment • Work cohesively on a team and independently with minimal supervision • Manage patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, collection and cash receipting, and arrival/departure desk activities • Encourage patient utilization of front-end technology during registration • Enter and maintain confidential and accurate patient, insurance, billing, and payment information • Assist billing functions accurately and/or direct matters to the appropriate billing office • Monitor inventory and stock medications, narcotics, and emergency medications/equipment

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required • Computer experience required • Customer relations experience required • Experience with Medical Records Software preferred • Front desk practice experience preferred • Must be able to sit for long periods of time • Must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment • Should be able to bend and lift up to 10 lbs. • Proficiency in emergency codes and appropriate responses • Knowledge of applicable federal and state healthcare regulations
