📋 Description

• Meet with missionaries remotely to provide instruction, counsel, and feedback through one-on-one coaching, small-group facilitation, and regular follow-up • Plan and prepare sessions using approved curriculum to meet missionaries’ needs • Direct missionaries in planning and accounting for their learning • Implement direction and training from the Mentor Trainer, Manager, Regional Manager, and Senior Manager of In-Field MLD • Attend weekly training meetings and one-on-ones with the Mentor Trainer • Support continued growth, development, and understanding of In-Field MLD practices and Preach My Gospel curriculum • Report needs and progress of assigned tasks to leadership • Coach missionaries before and during practice, live sessions, and follow-up • Ensure the well-being of each missionary • Potentially take on additional responsibilities as a Training Area Assistant • Potentially perform other temporary duties at the MTC, such as assisting with Mission Leadership Seminar

🎯 Requirements

• Returned missionary of less than 3 years or currently teaching at an MTC, unless an exceptional language need is identified • High school diploma or equivalent • High proficiency in spoken and written English; must complete interviews and assessments fully in English without translation services • Outstanding coaching, facilitation, and training skills • Knowledge and understanding of Preach My Gospel • Ability to train remotely through video calls using a desktop or laptop • Excellent interpersonal, prioritization, professionalism, and leadership skills • Self-motivated and able to work well with people • Willingness to receive and implement feedback • Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to meet physical requirements such as sitting or standing for long periods and using monitors, equipment, and a headset • Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy • Preferred: returned missionary of 2 years or less • Preferred: MTC classroom teaching or tutoring experience • Preferred: experience with online interactions including chat and video conferencing • Preferred: fluency in a second language
