• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency, Some College Classes or Associates Degree, (or equivalent education and experience) • previous work experience with families and young children required • Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing • Must be able to perform basic computer functions such as word processing and internet use • Must be able to demonstrate excellent judgement and knowledge of parenting skills • demonstrate cultural competence in dealing with parents with intellectual disabilities and work with a wide variety of parental skill levels • Must be knowledgeable about community resources in Washington, DC
