📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data processes and solutions for efficient data movement and transformation • Develop and maintain data models, databases, and data warehouses for business intelligence and analytics • Collaborate with IT, product, analytics, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide data solutions • Monitor production schedules, provide progress updates, and report issues or technical difficulties • Implement and manage data governance practices for data quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance • Collaborate on data security measures including access controls, encryption, and data masking • Mentor associate and intermediate data engineers • Perform data analysis and provide insights for departmental decision-making • Track industry trends and recommend data engineering tools and best practices • Participate in the full data process from idea generation and analysis through design, build, and support

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a US citizen due to contractual/access requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or related field • 5 years of experience designing and analyzing algorithms, data structures, and design patterns for scalable, highly available systems • 5 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data management • 5 years of experience with SQL and database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB • 5 years of experience with data warehousing concepts and warehouse solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery • Preferred: 7 years with data pipeline and workflow tools such as Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory • Preferred: 7 years defining system architectures and evaluating technical feasibility trade-offs • Preferred: 7 years designing or developing data solutions in healthcare • Preferred: 7 years with AWS, Azure, GCP, and related data services • Preferred: 7 years in data governance, data quality, and data security best practices • Preferred: 7 years translating requirements, prototypes, or user stories into technical designs • Preferred: 7 years producing fault-tolerant, efficient, and maintainable data-related code • Ability to work with diverse data tools and technologies and learn additional languages as needed • Experience designing and implementing large-scale data sources • Experience and willingness to mentor junior data engineers • No required licenses or certifications • Travel requirement of 0%-25% • Ability to comply with HIPAA, data security guidelines, the Code of Business Conduct, applicable laws, and company policies
