📋 Description

• Lead SFO-wide airline and space-tenant programs • Set strategy, policy, and operational direction for terminal, gate, and facility space allocation and management • Oversee tenant compliance with lease requirements, Airport Rules and Regulations, and applicable policies • Direct complex lease negotiations, landlord relations, and property management activities • Develop and implement tenant space programs coordinating facility design, leasing, operational needs, and stakeholder priorities • Provide strategic and operational oversight of the Airport Space Request System • Lead aviation and land-use business development opportunities and evaluate complex proposals • Oversee property acquisition negotiations for aviation use with the Department of Real Estate and City stakeholders • Direct right-of-way agreements, permits, and related property agreements • Advise executive management on commercial agreements, property utilization, and Airport development • Oversee aviation business development, revenue-generating initiatives, and public and employee parking operations • Lead, develop, coach, and manage direct reports, including performance reviews and performance issues • Manage policies, procedures, compliance, and governance for space use and allocation • Perform other functions outlined in the 0941 Manager VI job classification

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university • Four years of managerial experience in a supervisory capacity • Four years of infrastructure management experience within a large organization • Alternatively, a Master’s degree may substitute for up to one year of required experience • Qualifying experience may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis for up to two years • Must meet minimum qualifications by the final filing date • Must successfully complete the Supplemental Questionnaire Examination • Must undergo criminal history record check, including FBI fingerprints • Must complete a Transportation Security Administration Security Threat Assessment and obtain and maintain security clearance • Must be eligible for unescorted access to the SFO U.S. Customs Security Area • Must apply for, successfully acquire, and maintain a Customs Access Seal after employment commences • Experience in airline-airport lease and use agreement negotiation is desirable • Strong negotiation and communication skills are desirable • Collaborative leadership style is desirable • High ethics, integrity, and professionalism are desirable • Ability to work with varied audiences and stakeholders is desirable
