• Perform project-based work and operational support at the system and facility level • Progress high-value performance opportunities aligned with Wellstar's strategic goals • Analyze, develop, and improve healthcare processes and operations • Facilitate assigned process improvement initiatives, data analyses, and discussions • Participate in the development, coordination, and administration of evidence-based practice process improvement initiatives and activities • Partner with internal customers, project sponsors, and project managers to ensure benefit realization • Establish project goals, expected benefits, timelines, and key milestones with directors and business owners • Drive projects through completion with guidance from Industrial Engineering staff • Collaborate with industrial engineering resources, performance improvement staff, and EPMO team members on current-to-future-state design, change management, implementation planning, simulation, and statistical modeling • Perform other duties as assigned
• High School Diploma General • Minimum 1 year with at least the first year completed in a Bachelor's of Industrial Engineering program at an accredited university • Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Interest in an industrial engineering position in healthcare • Understanding of core process improvement processes and tools • Experience with Microsoft Excel • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint • Experience with statistical analysis software and simulation software is a plus • Experience working with cross-functional teams • Compliance with Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct
