📋 Description

• Develop and support technical capabilities that strengthen enterprise incident response and cyber resiliency • Work with the SOC to monitor alerts, analyze suspicious activity, and investigate cybersecurity incidents • Provide incident response focused on identification, scoping, containment, and technical response coordination • Perform technical investigations across endpoint, network, identity, cloud, and log data to determine root cause and affected systems • Assist with development and maintenance of SIEM, EDR, alerting, detection content, and response procedures • Evaluate and support cybersecurity tools and technical capabilities that improve incident detection and containment • Partner with infrastructure, application, exposure management, and other IT teams to identify and remediate security gaps • Document investigative findings, incident actions, evidence, and improvement opportunities • Participate in tabletop exercises, incident simulations, and technical validation activities • Collaborate with legal, compliance, privacy, and other departments on coordinated incident management • Monitor emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence and recommend improvements • Mentor team members on incident response procedures, investigations, security tools, and documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field • Experience in lieu of education is mentioned, but no required duration is specified • Experience with alert triage, technical analysis, incident investigation, threat identification, containment, SIEM, EDR, security monitoring, and exposure management • Ability to perform investigations using endpoint, network, identity, cloud, and log data • Ability to develop and maintain SIEM, EDR, alerting, detection content, and response procedures • Ability to monitor emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence • Ability to participate in tabletop exercises, incident simulations, and technical validation activities • Ability to mentor team members on incident response procedures, investigations, security tools, and documentation
