📋 Description

• Establish, lead, and mature Catalight’s enterprise data governance program, policies, standards, and operating model • Define governance frameworks for data quality, metadata, lineage, stewardship, access management, retention, and lifecycle management • Develop governance roadmaps and maturity strategies aligned with analytics, AI/ML, and data democratization objectives • Establish governance councils, stewardship programs, and cross-functional governance processes • Define standards for governed data usage across analytics and AI/ML workloads • Serve as subject matter expert for HIPAA, PHI, PII, and healthcare data governance • Define and enforce data classification, handling, retention, masking, and access-control standards • Partner with Security, Compliance, Legal, and Technology teams on regulatory alignment, audits, risk assessments, and remediation • Lead governance strategy for Catalight’s Snowflake data platform • Define Snowflake naming, RBAC, data-sharing, metadata, and lifecycle standards • Operationalize governance controls within Snowflake pipelines, data models, and access patterns • Support medallion architecture, semantic layers, curated data products, and governed self-service analytics • Establish metadata standards, business glossaries, data dictionaries, and lineage documentation • Define stewardship responsibilities and improve data ownership and accountability • Enable data discovery through standardized metadata and cataloging • Partner with architects, engineers, BI analysts, and business stakeholders to improve reporting trust, usability, consistency, and data quality • Define governance KPIs, maturity metrics, and adoption measurements • Lead governance training, documentation, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred; or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree • Demonstrated experience leading or implementing enterprise data governance programs in regulated environments • Strong expertise in HIPAA, PHI, PII, healthcare data privacy, and data compliance practices • Hands-on experience governing cloud-based data platforms, preferably Snowflake • Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, stewardship models, and data quality frameworks • Experience supporting governance for analytics, business intelligence, and AI/ML ecosystems • Familiarity with Collibra, Alation, Microsoft Purview, or similar tools preferred • Strong SQL and analytical data literacy skills • Experience collaborating with technical engineering teams and business stakeholders in cross-functional environments • Experience supporting healthcare, behavioral health, payer/provider, or regulated healthcare ecosystems preferred • Must communicate effectively, read, and write using the primary workplace language • Ability to work with clients, staff, and others continuously using visual and auditory abilities • Frequent speaking and listening (25–75%) • Ability to multitask and manage day-to-day responsibilities without supervision • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading and document accuracy • Knowledge of historically excluded groups and I/DD communities • Experience working and communicating with families • Sensitivity to ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse populations • Ability to manage programs from visioning through implementation and impact measurement • Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion • Commitment to managing a remote schedule aligned with PST business hours • Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice • Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General • Must attend required training
