📋 Description

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with prominent, therapeutically relevant healthcare providers and key decision makers for Catalyst’s neuromuscular programs/products • Deliver presentations and participate in strategic discussions concerning medical/clinical, health economics, and outcomes research data • Interact with physicians, researchers, managed markets medical and pharmacy directors, hospital decision-makers, formulary committees, consultant pharmacists, state Medicaid decision-makers, and others • Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future KOLs in the DMD space, scientific experts, cooperative study groups, and study sites • Educate key professionals at national, regional, and local levels with current, fair-balanced medical, scientific, and pharmacoeconomic information • Increase awareness of marketed products to support informed therapeutic decisions • Assist with regional and national advisory board meetings, including presentations, slide preparation/review, and facilitating discussions • Provide medical information resources and gather feedback from decision makers about product utility and marketplace comparisons • Deliver targeted internal training on study updates, congress news, and scientific developments • Implement and disseminate medical and scientific educational programs and give clinical/scientific presentations at sites and hospitals • Support Catalyst-sponsored clinical trials through scientific presentations and discussions, study-design feedback, enrollment-barrier identification, and investigator meetings • Expedite development and collection of quality data for pipeline assets and marketed products • Support projects from inception to conclusion as assigned by the Medical Affairs Director • Provide clinical and value-based input into communications and materials • Participate in or assist with training new associates, including MSLs and regional account managers • Develop qualitative and quantitative reports and collate competitor information

🎯 Requirements

• Must have an advanced degree in medical/biosciences (e.g M.D, D.O., Ph.D., PharmD) • 5 years clinical research, pharmacy, life science, pharma industry/academic related experience (can include relevant fellowship) • Must have current built neurology relationships in the DMD therapeutic space • 5 or more years of MSL experience, preferably in the DMD or Rare Disease arena • Experience in the DMD space • Understanding of the pharmaceutical corporate environment and ability to liaise between Commercial, Marketing, Payor and Medical in a compliant manner • Strong, broad-based scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge • Extensive presentation and teaching skills • Strong overall written and verbal communication skills • Comfortable and confident speaking about drug information/disease state management • Willingness to work compliantly cross functionally within the organization • Ability to lead and motivate team members without a direct reporting relationship, including training and mentoring new medical science liaisons, marketing, and commercial colleagues • Demonstrated ability to assess issues and think strategically • Sound computer skills, including word processing, slide materials, and spreadsheets • Microsoft Suite experience • Ability to develop required qualitative and quantitative reports and collate competitor information • Ability and willingness to travel at least 75% of workdays • Candidates should have access to major airports in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, or Florida
