📋 Description

• Spearhead the growth of Cayuse’s Data and AI initiatives across diverse business units and industries • Serve as the Data and AI expert for business development initiatives and collaborate with Client Account Leads • Shape solutions, engage with clients, qualify opportunities, and determine alignment with Cayuse’s focus • Lead Data and AI content creation for RFPs and RFIs across federal, state, local, and commercial markets • Develop go-to-market materials highlighting Cayuse’s Data and AI capabilities and strategic solutions • Build reusable proposal content, technical narratives, and case studies • Identify Data and AI opportunities within existing contracts, pursuits, and client engagements • Advise business units and service lines on value-creating Data and AI solutions • Shape tailored Data and AI offerings for specific markets and clients • Identify opportunities for AI, agentic AI, and automation to improve internal processes and operations • Drive Data and AI business growth in Oil & Gas, Utilities, and Enterprise and Consumer Technology • Build strategic client and prospect relationships and develop tailored solutions • Collaborate with Client Account Leads and Business Development Directors to grow accounts and secure new business • Monitor and report on pipeline, wins, and revenue growth • Develop and maintain Data and AI strategies and roadmaps for key industries • Identify market solution gaps and longstanding client challenges addressable through innovative AI offerings • Collaborate with data scientists and AI/ML engineers to develop client-ready solutions • Lead tools and solutions development for Cayuse’s AI Readiness offerings • Update strategic plans based on market trends, technology advances, and client priorities • Represent Cayuse at conferences, client briefings, and public forums • Publish articles, case studies, and thought leadership pieces • Engage with executive-level clients as a technical and industry expert • Perform other duties as assigned • Report to the Senior Managing Director, Data Science and AI

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in data science, AI/ML, and technology strategy, including leadership roles with a strong business and advisory focus • Proven track record in leading or contributing to RFP and RFI responses, especially for federal, state, local, and commercial clients, with a specialization in data science and AI • Established thought leadership in data science and AI through professional experience, publications, speaking engagements, or advisory roles • Strong understanding of federal AI policies, responsible AI frameworks, and regulatory considerations shaping AI adoption in commercial and government sectors • Must be able to pass a background check; additional project/client background checks may be required • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities • Adaptability and ability to learn quickly • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel • Ability to work across organizational boundaries and levels, translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences, and foster stakeholder alignment • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time • Ability to use a computer and office productivity tools with sufficient speed • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace • Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at a computer screen • May be asked to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, and outside normal business hours • May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes
