📋 Description

• Support business development and proposals within the defense contracting sector • Gain hands-on experience in communications writing practices • Work on real-world projects and drive meaningful outcomes • Compile and maintain records of business transactions and office activities • Perform administrative duties using relevant systems and procedures • Produce information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics • Type agendas, manuscripts, letters, and other documents • Read and route correspondence and initiate telecommunications • Collect, copy, tabulate, and post data • Prepare records and reports • Work under the direction of the Director, Proposals • Participate in mentorship, networking, learning, and professional development opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency using computers and other technologies, tools, and systems pertinent to the position • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in English, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field • Ability to work with minimal direction as part of a technically diverse, geographically dispersed team • Periods of prolonged sitting and/or standing, including desk-based computer work • Ability to work occasional extended hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed • Ability to communicate with team members, customers, and stakeholders through verbal and written methods • Ability to manage competing priorities, work under deadlines, and maintain attention to detail • Ability to interact with others in dynamic environments, including situations requiring problem-solving and conflict resolution • Successful background investigation • Alcohol and drug screening may be required for federal contract compliance • U.S. Citizenship is required • Must be eligible to work in the United States; proof of work eligibility required
