📋 Description

• Support construction due diligence through constructability reviews, risk analyses, project schedules, budget and capex estimate reviews, and EPC RFP analyses • Review and address upfront construction and execution-related issues early in the project life cycle • Manage RFI and RFP processes for assigned projects as they move from development to execution • Formally turn over executed contracts to the Director of Project Execution • Collaborate with Development and Execution on constructability assessments, site visits, permitting, JHA collaboration, and early- to mid-stage projects • Lead detailed baseline project schedules with appropriate team durations and contingencies • Provide input and review pipeline project schedules for investment approval projects • Support preliminary engineering specifications for construction and supply contracts • Develop project management and construction strategies, implementation plans, budgets, and schedules • Manage EPC RFP scoping, identification, evaluation, selection, and final approval • Lead EPC contract execution, including early-stage engineering and design with legal, contract management, and execution • Participate in supplier identification and selection • Coordinate project budgeting and cash spend forecasts with Cost Estimating & Controls • Integrate and align project stakeholders and host weekly project status meetings • Develop relationships with contractors and suppliers to support the execution strategy • Embrace and live by the mission and values of Cypress Creek Renewables • Perform additional duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management; or equivalent years of experience in construction, project planning and execution of large utility-scale, power plant projects • 3-8 years in the renewable energy sector or industrial construction or capital project management • Advanced knowledge of construction management and constructing methods for large projects, contract management, procurement, and supply chain management, environmental and building permitting, and transportation logistics • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining critical path method schedules • Extensive experience with EPC and BOP construction contracting, including RFP process, bid review, and negotiation of contract terms; renewable energy contracting experience is highly preferred • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including MS Project • Basic knowledge of construction labor relations throughout the US • Works well under pressure and on a deadline, enjoys working with a variety of people
