Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and a broad network of public-, private-, and community-sector organizations to advance public health locally and globally. 📋 Description

• Monitor compliance of a portfolio of the Foundation’s federal grant-funded programs • Follow established procedures to monitor compliance with federal grants rules and regulations, specifically 2 CFR Part 200 • Review subrecipient agreements and compliance documents • Recommend revisions to Program staff when appropriate • Evaluate subrecipient risk of noncompliance and assign appropriate monitoring levels • Monitor subrecipient activities to ensure authorized use of subawards, regulatory compliance, and achievement of performance goals • Verify that subrecipients are audited as required • Conduct follow-up on audit deficiencies and issue management decisions for applicable findings • Contribute to resolving audit findings related to subawards • Conduct site visits, desk audits, and reviews of financial and performance reports • Coordinate periodic comprehensive compliance reviews of subrecipients • Recommend and implement corrective actions • Provide compliance training and technical assistance to subrecipients, subcontractors, vendors, and Foundation staff • Track, document, and report compliance monitoring activities • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years grants management and administration experience • Bachelor’s Degree required • Master’s degree preferred • Knowledge of the grants management cycle design, monitoring and evaluation • Excellent communication, interpersonal, representation and negotiation skills • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Ability to adapt to various competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Forward-looking thinker who actively seeks the next challenge and proposes solutions • Excellent management, organizational, and time management skills • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
