📋 Description

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and applications, ensuring uptime and reliability • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs • Ensure secure and reliable connectivity for on-premises and remote users • Provide technical support to users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with security policies • Implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery solutions • Regularly test recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity • Apply security updates and patches to servers, applications, and devices • Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards • Develop and maintain scripts for automating routine administrative tasks • Identify and implement improvements to existing systems and workflows • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps • Generate reports on system health, usage, and security for management review

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience • 6-10 years of relevant experience • Proficiency in managing operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, macOS) and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) • Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and tools (e.g., DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) • Experience with Active Directory, group policies, and domain management • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Secret clearance • Preferred: Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) • Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) • Preferred: Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) • Preferred: Knowledge of ITIL practices for incident and change management
