📋 Description

• The Controller is responsible for supporting the CFO in oversight and leadership of Finance and Accounting department operations • Preparing and reporting monthly financial statements • Assisting with financial audits • Oversees the operations of the Accounting Department • Independently leads month-end close process

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required • Seven or more years of related experience required • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred • Excellent financial management skills • Experience with mortgage banking accounting • Knowledge and experience with Governmental Accounting Standards in a mortgage banking environment a plus • Knowledge and experience with Loan Vision or another mortgage banking accounting system preferred • Ability to communicate professionally with a diverse population
