📋 Description

• Teach undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Civil Engineering program • Deliver traditional lecture-style instruction and instruction in integrated laboratory course elements • Teach immediate-need subject areas including geotechnical engineering and soil mechanics, air pollution and control, and hydrology • Potentially teach other areas of civil engineering based on expertise • Integrate technical civil engineering education with an active Christian faith • Provide instruction during the academic year as instructional needs arise

🎯 Requirements

• M.S. in Civil Engineering or related discipline, plus licensure as a registered Professional Engineer (PE); or B.S. in Civil Engineering or related discipline, plus licensure as a registered Professional Engineer (PE), plus at least 10 years licensed professional engineering experience in a relevant area of civil engineering • Proven ability to effectively communicate subject material to students and relate with students and colleagues • Commitment to biblical integration in and out of the classroom • Must be a born-again Christian with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ • Must agree with and be willing to abide by Cedarville University's Doctrinal Statement, Community Covenant, and general Workplace Standards • Subject to verification of credentials and other information required by law and Cedarville University policies • Successful completion of a criminal history investigation
