📋 Description

• Apply health economic and outcomes research (HEOR) skills to generate real-world evidence demonstrating the value of innovative therapies • Work on retrospective and prospective RWE projects across various disease areas • Interact with pharmaceutical or medical device companies • Participate in research design • Manage and analyze large databases, primarily using SAS • Develop research proposals • Identify and finalize appropriate ICD, HCPCS, and CPT codes for research engagements • Develop study reports and/or conference submissions for research dissemination • Address logistics and implementation issues associated with research studies • Contribute to health outcomes strategy • Learn from leaders about market access, health care delivery, and career advancement

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates selected from a national pool of graduate students working toward a Doctor of Philosophy or equivalent degree in HEOR or a related discipline • Experience in SAS programming required • Knowledge of SQL preferred • Demonstrated record of scientific publication preferred, but not required • Understanding of analytical concepts and research methods pertaining to HEOR • Ability to effectively communicate understanding in verbal and written form • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Availability required through the length of the 10-week program
