• Determine the appropriate level of quality assurance oversight for various IT systems. • Coordinate with IT teams or third-party vendors on business/user requirements and complex software testing plans, scenarios, and scripts across the testing lifecycle. • Review unit-test documentation for validated systems before QA and user acceptance testing. • Create test plans and test summary reports. • Design test scenarios and configuration data for functional, integration, challenge, regression, security, performance, and automated testing. • Conduct real-world testing to verify application readiness before formal testing. • Execute approved functional, integration, challenge, and regression test scenarios. • Log defects and organize defect-triage meetings with stakeholders. • Notify Change Management when tested code is approved for production release. • Maintain documentation supporting processes and applications. • Facilitate user acceptance testing and support third-party oversight. • Manage assigned projects and/or cases. • Implement patient, healthcare professional, and funding-body telephone support programs. • Administer case-management protocols, including clinical monitoring, data collection, follow-up, compliance, therapy disruption/discontinuation monitoring, adverse-event reporting, and liaison with healthcare providers. • Implement pharmaceutical and biotechnology market research initiatives. • Make outbound calls and document activities in program databases. • Attend refresher and specialized product/program training. • Provide feedback on protocols, databases, processes, and interdepartmental relationships. • Communicate case status during absences and participate in training new caseworkers. • Report all adverse events to assigned units/departments. • Perform other assigned duties.
• At least three (3) years of related experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in software testing or quality assurance. • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a healthcare-related field. • Experience testing healthcare, pharmaceutical, or ERP applications; pharmacovigilance experience preferred. • Experience with integration or API testing. • Experience with automated testing management tools. • Hands-on experience working with validated systems in a regulated industry. • A minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience. • Bilingual in French and English, both written and verbal, is an asset. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). • Flexibility to work shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. • Ability to apply critical-thinking skills to solve problems. • A minimum of two (2) years of experience working for a patient support program. • Experience working in a call-centre environment is an asset. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective telephone etiquette. • Proven ability to manage time, set priorities, and multitask. • Minimum university degree in a related field or equivalent experience. • Ability to use automated enterprise testing tools. • Experience with HP Quality Center, Jira, or Zephyr is an asset. • Knowledge of CDS, office services, HP testing tools, or equivalent testing tools. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry. • Working knowledge of automated warehouse operating systems. • Strong business and financial acumen. • Strong analytical and mathematical skills. • Fully bilingual communication skills. • In-depth knowledge of patient support programs. • Strong technical skills and the ability to learn new software and databases quickly.
