📋 Description

• Execute global indirect sourcing strategies for the packaging category • Create and drive collaboration with internal stakeholders across Cencora business units and external vendors to optimize indirect spend • Identify and select suppliers through competitive bidding, value analysis, industry structure evaluations, and total-cost analysis • Represent Cencora favorably with suppliers and advocate for Cencora’s interests • Re-evaluate contracts to ensure optimal pricing, products, and services • Build and maintain supplier partnerships and relationships • Resolve supplier issues, conflicts, and cultural differences, and implement B2B solutions as needed • Provide advisory services on purchasing indirect goods, including contracting and negotiation strategies • Manage strategic account relationships with senior supplier management • Collaborate with Risk Management, Finance, Legal, Operations, and other internal departments • Use indirect strategic sourcing guidelines and tools to procure goods and services cost-effectively and efficiently • Perform related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education • Five to seven (5-7) years of directly related and progressively responsible experience • Experience supporting operational procurement in manufacturing, logistics, packaging, or pharmaceutical • Exceptional contract management and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects of various diverse scope in a cross-functional environment • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data • Knowledge of global cultural differences and business practices • Ability to navigate confrontational issues in a positive manner • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with global internal stakeholders • Excellent negotiation and contract optimization skills • Strong stakeholder management skills • Strong problem solving and ability to apply appropriate tools and analysis to specific situations • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required • Proficiency in SAP Ariba and iCertis a plus • Travel is required for business needs
